SUPPORT THE PROJECT

Make a Financial Contribution

Keep the Diuguid website free! Your tax-deductible gift, no matter how small, ensures the long-term availability of these invaluable records, as well as the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the database. All donations go to the “Diuguid Collection Fund,” established in 2009 by the non-profit Southern Memorial Association specifically to support the Diuguid Project.

Thank you!

Volunteer to Index Diuguid Records

The Diuguid Collection contains much more information than what is currently available in the database. Important biographical data like age, sex, cause of death, last residence, and next-of-kin still need to be indexed before they can be searchable in the database. Please contact Ted Delaney at the Old City Cemetery if you are interested in helping with this work. Currently all indexing must be done on-site in the Cemetery office.

Improve the Database with Comments and Corrections

Share your knowledge and make future research easier. Use the “Comments” form at the bottom of each detailed results page to correct information as it currently appears in the database, or to submit interesting biographical information about the person. You may also send general comments about the site using the “Contact Us” form (above right header).

Donate Diuguid Documents, Artifacts, and Memorabilia to the Old City Cemetery

Do you have an old Diuguid Funeral Home receipt or letter? Are you looking for a good home for your Diuguid family photos or memorabilia? Please consider donating these materials to the Old City Cemetery, which has a small museum and archives ready to provide long-term care and interpretation of your materials. One of the Cemetery’s primary areas of interest is the Diuguid business, which buried thousands of people in the Old City Cemetery since 1820.
